Our Special CorrespondentGirish Park: A man who was travelling from north Calcutta towards Esplanade was allegedly robbed of his phone and other valuables in an autorickshaw near Girish Park on Tuesday night. "We have identified the suspect," an officer at Lalbazar said. The complainant, a resident of Howrah, was returning home when he was allegedly robbed. He had hired an entire auto to travel from Sovabazar to Esplanade. "The man mentioned in the complaint that the driver took the auto into a deserted lane near Girish Park and robbed him," an officer of the anti-burglary section said.
