GEORGE TOWN: A resident at an apartment in Relau here yesterday, had the fright of her life when she saw a man wandering around the apartment block, stark naked. She said the man, who was carrying a straw fan in his hand, had ignored her and continued walking around the apartment block. “I was worried for my safety so I immediately called the Paya Terubong Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) service team for help,” she said. Paya Terubong JKKK’s chairman Frankie Kee, who is also special assistant to Paya Terubong assemblyman Yeoh Soon Hin, said a service team member, who received the call immediately, alerted the police. “The man claimed that he was walking around naked because Goddess Mazu (a Chinese sea goddess) had asked him to strip,” he said.
