more-inOne person received bullet injuries when his neighbour allegedly shot him with an air gun owing to a land dispute at Anjuranmandhai near here on Wednesday. The injured was identified as Perumal (57) of Anjuranmandhai near here. The police said that preliminary inquiries revealed that Perumal had a land dispute with his neighbour Sankar (40) of Palani. A wordy altercation, it seemed, turned into a quarrel and Sankar, in a fit of anger, shot Perumal. He received bullet injuries on the face.
