The blue stores were found in almost every town and city for years until the company ceased trading in 2010. In a video shared on TikTok, a user known only as @w.ild.e joked there had been a "glitch in the Matrix" as he spotted a Covid-19 safety sign through the window. He says: "Right so there's a Blockbuster near me, I pass it like all the time, that's me in the reflection. "I'm coming back from the shop, I got some quick scran, but yeah... inside this abandoned Blockbuster near me there's a Covid-19 sign. Many people were also baffled by the sign, with one saying: "Definitely a glitch in the simulation!"
