Two men repeatedly punched a pedestrian in an unprovoked attack on Christchurch's Ferry Rd. A police spokeswoman said the incident happened about 11pm on Saturday when a vehicle carrying a group of men pulled up beside the victim. The victim was punched repeatedly by two men who fled when a witness at the scene called the police. The second man was taller, wearing baggy cargo pants and a white T-shirt.
