A man is on the run and another is in Dunedin Hospital in a moderate condition after an assault in North East Valley last night. There is a heavy police presence outside a Dunedin flat in North Rd, near the intersection with Crown St.A police spokeswoman said officers were called to the scene about 11.40pm yesterday to what was initially believed to be an altercation between two flatmates.
