PUTRAJAYA: A man whose brutal murder at a Johor Baru petrol station shocked the nation recently was a ‘kongsi gelap’ (secret society) leader. "The possibility of retaliation is there since it involves secret societies, and the police are always prepared to face such possibilities. On Sunday, the man, who was in his 30s, died after being stabbed by assailants and run over by a car at a petrol station in Taman Pelangi. With the man on the ground, his assailants got into their car, circled the petrol station and knocked him down. The BMW then sped out of the station, stopping briefly for one of the assailants to enter the car before fleeing.
