Man mistakenly receives insulting email meant for colleague after job interview

Karl McCartney applied to be a delivery driver for Drive2Recruit after spotting a job advert on Indeed, and was delighted when he was offered a telephone interview. (Image: Karl McCartney / SWNS.com)Karl, who had been looking for work after being made redundant six months ago, says he felt crushed when reading the message. He ticked all the boxes of the new job requirements, being over 25 years old and having previous experience as a delivery driver. "I also tried to call but the lady on the phone just said the email wasn't for me, but it clearly was as I received the email. Drive2Recruit declined to comment on the email and a spokesperson said they had tried to resolve the issue with Karl directly, which he denies.
