Delhi Police has arrested a 60-year-old man for allegedly raping a seven-year-old girl “on several occasions” in northwest Delhi’s Jahangirpuri area. According to police, the incident came to light after locals found the victim lying abandoned at a park on Monday. The police called an NGO that counselled the girl, who then opened up and narrated her ordeal. “The day the girl was found unconscious, the accused had lured her on the same pretext before raping her. After the girl narrated her ordeal to the counsellors and police, the accused was arrested.
