HULU SELANGOR: A factory worker is being investigated for lodging a fake police report in a bid to get money to fund his wedding. Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Ang Kong Kia said the 23-year-old man made the report at about 11pm on Dec 3. "The suspect claimed that he had been robbed at Kampung Tuah, Jalan Bukit Beruntung at knife point of RM5,040 and his identity documents. "He claimed that he hurt his finger during the robbery," Supt Ang said. "The suspect had deliberately hurt his finger and then lodged the report in order to get money from his parents to fund his wedding," Supt Ang said.
