GHOTKI: A man axed his wife to death for honour and escaped the scene here on Sunday, police said. The accused hailing from suburbs of Ghotki was suspicious of his wife’s activities and blamed her without proof. An exchange of hot words took place between the couple over the issue after which the annoyed husband axed his wife to death and escaped after committing the murder. The body was shifted hospital for postmortem and the police after registering a case against the murderer of wife started raids for his arrest.
