Crime & Punishment of Thursday, 10 May 2018Source: kasapafmonline.comMan kills and dumps pregnant girlfriend, stepson in mining pitThe five months pregnant girlfriend and 5-year-old stepson were dumped in a pitA man believed to be in his 30s Kwabena Tuffour has killed his five months pregnant girlfriend Obaa Yaa and 5-year-old stepson at Manso Adubiaso near Kwabenaso in the Manso Nkwanta District of the Ashanti region. The traditional leaders including community members then searched for Obaa Yaa and his son but they couldn’t find them after 2 days search. The suspect is reported to have told Obaa Yaa (the deceased) to accompany him to farm so he can fetch her firewood but ended up killing her. He was subsequently summoned by the traditional leaders but went into hiding. Tuffour was however arrested by the youth and admitted that he killed Obaa Yaa and his step son and dumped their bodies in an old mining pit in a bush.
