A man was killed and 3 people injured from the same family in a car crash on Monday at Eastern Desert Road, and have been transferred to Bani Suef General Hospital. The Ambulance Authority have received a report on the incident then 4 ambulances rushed to the scene. Mohamed Abdel Tawab, 56, was killed, his wife Rasha, 35, and sons Youssef, 13, and Abdel Rahman, 3 months, have been injured. Egypt loses about 12 000 lives due to road traffic crashes every year. It has a road traffic fatality rate of 42 deaths per 100,000 population, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
