Police received reports of a man being shot shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday at Leslie St. and Van Horne Ave. in the Don Valley Village. A man was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds following a shooting in North York, police say. After officers found the victim he at first appeared to be in stable condition, however his condition has since worsened, police said. Police said two silver cars were reported to have fled the area.
