Ottawa police are investigating an early morning shooting in the ByWard Market near the intersection of George Street and ByWard Market Square. A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds, paramedics said. This is Ottawa's 50th shooting of 2016, breaking the record set in 2014.
