A west Auckland man says he sleeps with an axe after his partner's sons were approached by a man in New Lynn. Murray says the man started driving alongside the boys with his passenger window down. The New Lynn resident says he got in his car, planning to follow the man in the van. Murray says he suspects the man in the red van had returned and tried to break into his house.
