The 4x4 driver stopped before driving his vehicle into the van pushing it backwards for around 10 yards. When the van driver got out of his cab and it is alleged the suspect then collided with him, pinning the victim against his own van before speeding off. The victim was later taken by air ambulance to a London hospital where he remains in a "serious" condition. The incident is reported to have taken place on Cradducks Lane with the offending vehicle reportedly driving off in the direction of Headcorn Road.
