It happened Saturday just after 11 p.m. when two vehicles collided on Cambie Street at West 57th Avenue. Vancouver police are investigating the city’s fifth fatal crash of 2019. Police say that after the crash one of the vehicles slammed into a utility pole. They say three people from that vehicle were rushed to hospital, but the driver — a man in his twenties — died. The two passengers were being treated for serious injuries.
