At around 3.25am yesterday, officers requested a vehicle to stop in Rochdale but the driver failed to and a short police pursuit commenced on Milnrow Road. The chase continued onto Rochdale Road where the collision between the police vehicle and the pedestrian occurred. Officers provided medical assistance to the injured man, who was taken to Salford Royal Hospital where he remains in a critical condition. “We were notified by the force that the collision occurred on Milnrow Road, Rochdale, at approximately 3.30am on Sunday. Officers provided medical assistance to the man who was taken to hospital for the injuries he sustained.
