A man charged with abusing a Palmerston North Muslim says he does not know the person he allegedly called a terrorist. George Te Amo, 55, entered no pleas in the Palmerston North District Court on Tuesday to charges of intimidation, threatening to kill, possession of knives and driving while forbidden. Saad Hishma, a 56-year-old taxi driver, told Stuff he was sitting in his taxi taking a prayer break when a man approached his car. Te Amo was bailed until April. The registrar told him he was also banned from associating with Hishman, to which Te Amo replied: "I don't even know him".
