A police spokesperson said they were called to Earl Rd, Temuka, at 7.50am on Thursday after a report of a man having sustained “serious injury” following an assault. The spokesperson said the man was taken to hospital “in a serious but stable condition”. Police ask that anyone with information about the incident, or those involved, contact them on 105, quoting event number P044122071.
