SIBU: A man was arrested for assaulting his wife after she scolded him for driving too fast. In the 6pm Saturday incident, the couple was driving home when the man, who was apparently drunk, was going way past the speed limit. The wife, a hairdresser, scolded him and asked him to slow down. The man, a lorry driver, then stopped the car at Jalan Kiew Nang and started to punch and hit the wife with a stick. The man chased after her and used a plastic chair to hit her.
