A Nepalese man, who was absconding since the last four years after raping and trying to kill a six-year-old girl, has been arrested from Delhi Gate, the police said on Sunday. He used to work in a garment export house in Okhla and often used to help the victim’s family financially, they said. The incident took place on August 10, 2015, they added. The woman suspected the involvement of a tenant who could not be found since the incident, the officer said. When the accused finally agreed to shift to Delhi and the informer alerted the police about the same, he said.
