Pol Captain Sumet Suksattha, deputy inspector of Muang Suphan Buri police station, was alerted to the accident at 7.20am on Piharn Daeng-Pho Phraya road in Tambon Pho Phraya. The body of Anusak Wayakham, 59, was found inside. Anusak was the director of Wat Prachumchon School in Tambon Ban Pho. His relatives said he left home at 6.10am to drive to his son’s wedding rite in Ban Pho Sai village in Mueang district. A witness, Damrongsak Phophankul, 52, said he was fishing in his boat when he saw car lights before the car plunged into the river.
