SETIU: Police have yet to identify a man who was found dead in the toilet of a petrol station in Kampung Merang here yesterday. The victim, in his 40s, was spotted by a staff member through a crack in the locked toilet door at 5am, as he was checking on a motorcycle parked in front of the toilet. District police chief Deputy Superintendent Zulkifli Mat Deris said the worker waited outside the locked toilet for more than an hour before alerting his employer. Zulkifli said police received a report from the Setiu Fire and Rescue station about the incident at around 6.45am. Zulkifli said the victim was confirmed dead by a medical officer and that the body was sent to the Setiu Hospital for a post mortem.
