A 46-year-old man, a native of Kolichal and owner of a soda manufacturing unit at Kottappara Kizhkkumkara, was found dead at his residence in Nellithara on Friday morning (February 6). The deceased was identified as Roy Thomas. The body was discovered around 8.30 a.m. by his business partner when he arrived at the house. Following the information, Ambalathara police reached the spot, conducted inquest procedures, and shifted the body for post-mortem examination. A case of unnatural death has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, and further investigation is underway.
