The victim, 35-year-old Abdur Rob, is a cattle trader, said Komol Nagar police OC Akul Chandra Biswas. He hails from Kadira Union. Kadira Union Council member Shafiq Ullah said locals reported to police after spotting the body in a field by the Bhulua River around 9am on Sunday. The OC suspects Rob was murdered sometime during Saturday night. The body has been sent to the state-run hospital of Lakshmipur, said the police officer.
