A man was found dead in a recreational vehicle after an early morning fire at a Balzac campground, police said in a release. A 60-year-old man was found deceased in the RV after the fire was put out. Airdrie RCMP and Rocky View County fire responded to a call just before 5 a.m. Saturday to find a motorhome fully engulfed in flames. Calgary police investigators assisted RCMP and determined the fire was not suspicious in nature. Balzac is just north of Calgary city limits.
