At 11:22 p.m., police received a call that several gunshots were heard in the area of Bradham Path and Birmingham St. in the New Toronto neighbourhood near Lakeshore. A man in his 40s was pronounced dead after a shooting in an Etobicoke residential area late Tuesday evening, police say. Police responded to the call, along with paramedics and firefighters, and found the victim unconscious, with life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries soon after. No one is in custody, although TPS spokesperson Katrina Arrogante said there are at least two suspects.
