Police say a 64-year-old Calgary man has been charged with second-degree murder, in connection to a suspicious death that occurred in the northeast community of Rundle. Upon arrival, police said officers found a man in his 50s suffering from life-threatening injuries. On Saturday, police said in a news release that Cecil Lapp has been charged with second-degree murder in the man's death. Police said investigators believe the assault was a targeted incident and that there is no threat to the public. Lapp is due to appear in court Tuesday, the same day an autopsy has been scheduled for the man who died.
