The deceased had been suffering from cancer, and liver and kidney diseases as wellA 52-year-old man died with breathing complications at the isolation unit of Bagerhat Sadar Hospital on Thursday afternoon. Bagerhat Civil Surgeon Dr KM Humayun Kabir said the sample collected from the deceased was sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) for coronavirus testing. The deceased from Baruipara area in Sadar upazila had been suffering from cancer, and liver and kidney diseases, he added. He was admitted to Fakirhat Upazila Health Complex earlier on Wednesday with breathing complications and later brought to Sadar Hospital on Thursday noon where he died in the afternoon, the civil surgeon added. Meanwhile, the global death toll from the highly infectious disease has reached 136,032 on Thursday afternoon.
