more-inA 24-year-old motorcycle rider was killed in a hit-and-run case on Outer Ring Road near Banaswadi in the early hours of Saturday. The deceased Balu, a native of Kerala, was residing in RT Nagar for the past couple of years and was working in a private company. Around 12.30 a.m., he was going to his friend’s house in Kammanahalli when the incident took place. Few passers-by found Balu lying on the road in a pool of blood and alerted the Banaswadi traffic police, who shifted him to a nearby private hospital where he was declared brought dead. The Banasawadi traffic police are verifying the CCTv footage to identify the vehicle involved in the accident.
