An elderly man from Kings County is dead following an accident on Route 3 in eastern P.E.I. The accident — a collision between a car and truck, with the man driving the car — happened Friday morning in New Perth. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The two occupants of the truck were treated for minor injuries at the scene and released. The road remains closed while the investigation continues.
