Pipa News |Calgary police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in the southeast neighborhood of Radisson Heights. Around 4:40 am Sunday, police were called to the Ambassador Restaurant and Bar at 3504 17th Avenue SE due to reports of gunshots, the Calgary Police Service (CPS) said in a statement. “We are currently studying [it] like a suspicious death,” Acting Staff Sergeant Chris Warren told CBC News. CPS said witnesses told them they heard gunshots and then saw the man flee the area. Investigators remain at the scene, talking to witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage.
