Ellen O'DonoghueA man has died after a fatal assault in Finglas overnight. Shortly before 12.30am on Tuesday, gardaí and emergency services responded to reports of an assault outside a residence on Dunsink Green, Finglas. A man (60s) was treated at the scene and subsequently pronounced dead at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. A Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) has been appointed to lead the investigation and an incident room has been established at Finglas Garda Station.
