Police at the scene of the May 1 crash that led to the death of Ezra Wilson. A man has denied his driving is the reason a motorcyclist died on a busy Palmerston North road. Dawei Zhuang​, 40, pleaded not guilty in the Palmerston North District Court on Tuesday to careless driving causing Ezra Wilson’s​ death. Wilson, 21, died after a crash at the intersection of Napier Rd and Upper Main St, Palmerston North, at 4.45pm on May 1. He was taken to Palmerston North Hospital in critical condition and died later that evening.
