Ottawa police are investigating the city's 13th homicide of 2017 after a man in his 40s was stabbed to death early this morning near the ByWard Market. Police were called to a stretch of King Edward Avenue between Murray and York streets at around 5 a.m. Saturday. The man was taken to hospital, police said, where he was pronounced dead. The victim was pronounced dead in hospital. — @OttawaPoliceThe Ottawa Police Service's major crime unit is investigating the incident.They have closed off the main entrance to the nearby Shepherds of Good Hope.
