A 24-year-old Toronto man is dead after a single-vehicle collision in Richmond Hill Friday morning. York Regional Police were called just before 1 a.m. to the Bayview Ave. and 16th Ave. area for a reported crash. Police arrived at the scene to find a badly damaged car on the front lawn of a home, Staff Sgt. York paramedics found a man without vital signs and rushed him to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Police closed 16th Ave. between Fern Ave. and Bayview Ave. for an investigation but it has since reopened.
