Man commits suicide outside in-laws houseA domestic row ended on a fatal note after a man committed suicide outside his in-law's house at Eburru trading centre in Gilgil. This came as leaders in the area decried the rising cases of suicide among the youth with drugs and alcohol abuse being the major contributor. According to a resident Adam Kiragu, the young man had for some time quarrelled with his wife who left him and was living with her parents. He said that his in-laws were opposed to the idea of letting their daughter go back to him saying he had not reformed in his wayward ways. Meanwhile, transport along the Mai Mahiu-Limuru road was paralysed for over six hours following a traffic jam that spanned over 20Kms last night.
