Man charged with shoplifting €6k worth of goods at three Cork pharmacies


Almost €6,000 worth of cosmetics, vitamins and hair-loss products were allegedly stolen in three shoplifting incidents at pharmacies in Cork by the same 49-year-old man. He allegedly stole €2,869 worth of cosmetics and health supplements from Sam McCauley pharmacy in Blackpool shopping centre. Forty boxes of vitamin tablets and several bottles of hair-loss products, with a total value of €1,920, were allegedly stolen by him at Boots Pharmacy in Mahon Point shopping centre. He is charged with going to another Boots Pharmacy, at Half Moon Street, and stealing €1,100 worth of cosmetics. The same man is charged with stealing over €1,500 worth of clothing from Premier Building Solutions on Pouladuff Road.
