KUALA LUMPUR: A 31-year-old man was charged at the Sessions Court today with five counts of money laundering involving more than RM100,000. Gulshendeep Singh clad in a red shirt and jeans nodded when the charges were read before judge Hasbullah Adam. In another Sessions Court Gulshendeep was charged with illegally storing 1,450 kilogram of liquefied petrolium gas (LPG) in his lorry in front of Villa Wangsamas, Jalan Sri Wangsa 1, about 10.30pm on Sept 1 last year. He was charged under Section 21 of the Control of Supplies Act 1961 for possessing controlled supplies in a suspicious manner. The two courts set bail at RM50,000 and RM30,000 respectively, with one surety for each case, pending mention on Oct 2.
