A man was charged in Montreal court this afternoon in connection with the stabbing of a priest during a mass at Saint Joseph's Oratory Friday morning. A spokesperson for Saint Joseph's Oratory said 77-year-old Father Claude Grou, likely in shock, hadn't realized he'd been hurt after the attack. Céline Barbeau, a spokesperson for Saint Joseph's Oratory, said Grou will grudgingly take a few days off. The suspect was quickly wrestled to the floor by security guards after stabbing Grou, who is the rector of the oratory. Montreal police officers watch as worshippers attend a service at Saint Joseph's Oratory on Saturday.
