A Wanaka man has been charged with possession of child pornography. The man, who has interim name suppression, appeared in Queenstown District Court yesterday and was remanded on bail without plea. He has been charged with possession of objectionable publications; 30 jpg images showing young girls and boys naked and/or engaged in sexual acts. All 30 charges date back to August 23, 2016, but this was his first appearance in court. He was remanded on bail until July 10 with conditions, so that he can appoint a lawyer.
