A man has been charged in connection with the death of Timothy ‘Teddy’ Murnane following an assault outside his home in Tipperary town. The incident happened in Mr Murnane’s back garden at St Michael’s Avenue on September 12, 2025. Gardaí investigating Mr Murnane’s homicide arrested a man in his 30s on Tuesday. Mr Murnane was also subject to the conditions of Part 2 of the Sex Offenders Act 2001. However, garda sources indicated they were aware of "intel" concerning Mr Murnane.
