A Mosgiel man has been charged in relation to a crash early on Monday. The 22-year-old has been charged with dangerous driving, drink-driving and fleeing from a crash scene after a car ploughed through the fence of a Mosgiel house about 2.30am on Monday. Pauline and Bill Overton were asleep in their Perth St home, when the speeding car woke them. The pair then heard an "almighty crash" as the car went through the property’s fence and hit their house. "He was located a few minutes later and charged," the spokeswoman said.
