MANILA, Philippines — A 20-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stealing money and cigarettes from a neighborhood store in Muntinlupa City on Wednesday. Nathaniel Tanao-Tanao reportedly broke into the store owned by 26-year-old Jerimae Jayona and stole P1,050 in cash, a vaping device, four packs of cigarettes and a silver necklace, police said. Jayona shouted for help when she saw Tanao-Tanao. Her neighbors surrounded him and turned him over to police. Tanao-Tanao was charged with robbery.
