Gardaí are appealing for information where a man in Wexford was allegedly hit by a car and brought to hospital. On Friday, January 2, the emergency services responded to an incident where a man is believed to have been struck by a car whilst out walking in the Bawnmore area of New Ross, Wexford. The man was found laying on the ground by members of the public and he was brought from the scene of the narrow road by ambulance to University Hospital Waterford where he was treated for injuries sustained to his neck, shoulders and legs. It’s understood that the man gave the description of a silver car coming towards him that had a loud exhaust. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses that may have dashcam footage or information in relation to this incident.
