Man booked for making objectionable remarks against Rio bronze medallist Sakshi Malik

Sakshi Malik became the first Indian women wrestler to win an Olympic medal. A man has been booked under the IT Act for allegedly making objectionable remarks against wrestler Sakshi Malik on social media, police said on Tuesday. Nadeem Nambardar made some objectionable comments against the Olympic bronze medallist and her religion. Nambardar, in his Facebook profile, claims to be a Samajwadi Party worker. However, it's district unit chief, Jaiveer Singh, said the accused does not have any links to the party.
