"During the Shahbagh intersection blockade program, one man driving a black Toyota Allion came out of the car and demanded that his car be allowed to pass through. When the students refused, he pulled out a pistol and aimed it at the students," Kanjilal, cultural secretary of Jagannath Hall union told Dhaka Tribune. The man, Alif Rusdi Hasan Moon, 36, was taken to Shahbagh police station along with his wife and sister-in-law who got off from the car to rescue him. Deputy Commissioner HM Azimul Haque of the DMP Ramna Division told journalists: “We have heard about the allegations raised by the students. Shahbagh police station OC Abul Hasan told Dhaka Tribune: “The man told us that he is involved in the manpower business.”Later, police took the car to Shahbagh police station, with two unknown children sitting inside it.
