At one stage of interrogation, he confessed to possessing gold bars. Later, 14 gold bars concealed in his pocket, were seized from his possession. “The arrestee said that he was taking the gold bars to Dhaka. A case was filed under Special Powers Act with Kotwali police station for smuggling the gold bars,” the OC added.
